Recently I made a few very cute baby announcement cards commissioned by a client. The illustrations are based on my “Little Darlings” series. All cards have typical Dutch elements and colors. The cards will soon be available at this website in the Netherlands.

Spring has finally returned! The fairies are busy giving Mother Nature a helping hand, with their singing and magic (magic wands and secret magic powder) they make flowers and plants grow big, healthy and colorful.

Fairy tale morning

Waking up in fairy style! Mother Nature’s little helpers are up every morning. Have you met the bee fairy? He’s up early to collect honey from the flowers. His friend the butterfly fairy enjoys guiding the butterflies to the freshest flowers. The Rose fairy is the latest to wake up but look at her, she’s so pretty! The Daisy fairy loves to hang around and admire her flowers while the gardening fairy makes sure every plant and mushroom gets a daily dose of magical water to help them grow.
You’ve never seen them? Be sure to wake up very very early tomorrow and you might catch a glimpse of them, but if you missed them don’t worry. You can admire their work; they love that too :)

I’ve named this illustration set: “Thinking of you”: our pets go to heaven too, so whenever we think about them we know the angels are taking good care of them and they are very much loved.
